Corentin, can you introduce Adventiel, your role, and how you use DC Scope®, both internally and with your clients ?
“Adventiel is a digital player serving the living world, supporting the agriculture, agri-food, and related sectors in their digital transformation for over 50 years. We develop useful and sustainable digital solutions, taking a pragmatic approach: auditing, designing, hosting, and providing long-term support. Today, Adventiel has over 150 employees across several sites in France, and we work both on software development and the hosting and operation of information systems.
As for me, I am a Systems and Network Administrator. We have our own hosting platform, and this is where we use DC Scope®. The tool allows us to monitor the overall load of our VMware infrastructure, as well as the virtual information systems of our hosted clients. For every client steering committee, we generate clear, readable reports to track resource usage and propose adjustments when necessary. It’s a real decision-support tool and an asset for transparency in client relationships.”
What is the size of your infrastructure and which technologies do you use ?
We operate more than fifteen VMware hypervisors running over a thousand virtual machines of all types (Windows, Linux, databases, web applications, business applications). This represents around 7 TB of RAM and more than 2,000 vCPUs.

You are exploring Kubernetes integration and the IT system’s carbon footprint. What are your expectations ?
We are indeed testing a Kubernetes solution to meet new client needs. Monitoring the resources used in Kubernetes is a major topic, which I hope can be simplified by a solution like DC Scope®.
Furthermore, as a hosting provider, we are particularly sensitive to our carbon footprint. Tracking and controlling energy consumption is part of our CSR and Green IT commitment.
